The STUDLY Mason

Well lets just keep this SHORT and SWEET! Some things will never change!! Mason still loves anything to with a BALL and his BFF for life is his DAD!!! He is a GREAT big brother and will be found helping Rylin out all the time! He is also a GREAT little brother, just ask Jordan! He loves to be a pest to her whenever possible! Mason learned how to ride his bike but jumps off everytime I try to get a picture! STINKER! He is currently playing basketball with Mark coaching and LOVES it! Mason had a GREAT report card! He is AWESOME at reading, spelling and math! Mason always amazes Mark and I at his great memory! He loves to read his BIBLE and memorize verses! Keep up the GOOD work Mason!

A little about Rylin

As soon as we drop Mason off at school Rylin is asking me "is it time to pick up my brother Mason yet?" She loves to ride her new Dora bike and princess scooter outside with Mason! Rylin is always asking me to take her picture! She is not camera shy! Here is Rylin being what she always is, HAPPY and SILLY!!!

"A Funk"

As I finished up work tonight I realized that I am in "a funk" that I can not get out of. I feel so guilty because I have so much to be joyful for...

My husband who not only loves me unconditionally but shows me love everyday
The health of my WHOLE family
The closeness of my family
How God is working in mine and Marks lives daily
My children
The ability to make others feel good about themselves

Lord,
Thank you for so many blessings you lay upon my life daily! I am so grateful for how good you are to me. Lord please continue to bless my marriage so Mark and I can can raise our 3 children in a home centred around you. As I feel so overwhelmed help me to understand your purpose, not mine, for my life. Thank you God for always listening, loving and caring for me!

A glance on 2009!

Hi-lights and low-lights ( I feel like I am doing hair!) of 2009!!!
The Cardinals went to the Superbowl and we had a very fun party!
Mason turned 6 completed Kindergarten and started 1st grade!
We built our 1st swimming pool!
Rylin had a close call with drowning the 1st day in our new pool.
We went on our annual Hunt/Miller/Moseley/Bates/Sparks vacation to Newport Beach!
Jordan turned 14 started 8th grade and made the cheer squad!
The first year we did not go to Disneyland.
we built (and used) our fireplace!!
We put down our "fake" grass and love it!!
Mark and I celebrated our 9th anniversary!
Rylin turned 3 and discovered her favorite place to go is McCormick Railroad Park and Sugarbowl!!!
Mark and I started working with the Jr. High kids at church and love it!!!
Had 100,000,000,000,000,000,000 parties at our house and loved everyone of them!!
Had our close neighbors/friends move to Utah.
Mason lost his first tooth (actually 2 in the same day, bottom centers) in October and ended up with "Swine Flu" From putting those germy hands in his mouth to wiggle his teeth!!
Mason's football team went undefeated in the season and won their championship!
Realizes how fast the years are flying by!!

I AM A BLOGGER!!!

Computers and I ARE NOT FRIENDS!! This blog has taken me several of weeks (more like months) To figure out! I am excited to record our crazy lives for us to go back and visit. I realized this past Christmas season how much we do and how much I forget! My life journal has begun!
